Web Designer/Developer

We're looking for an all rounder web designer/developer for our small team in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. Our ideal candidate should have minimum 3 years experience designing and developing and be capable of working on your own initiative. You must be technically competent and reliable with an excellent eye for detail. We value maturity, good judgment and good communication over bleeding edge skills; you can do the basics really well and you know it.

What we'd like

1. 3yrs programming experience to include at least 1 yr PHP/MySQL development
2. Excellent JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
3. A good working knowledge of CMS/Ecommerce frameworks like Joomla, Wordpress, Prestashop etc
4. A working knowledge of design tools; Fireworks/Photoshop. You can slice a design without crying.
5. Decent Linux server administration skills and familiarlity with different end user CP's (Cpanel, Plesk, Hsphere etc)

Your main duties & responsibilities:

You will be responsible for taking designed web projects through to completion, sourcing and implementing custom programming solutions where needed. We're always looking to try new stuff and push ourselves and our cllients, so you will be expected to learn a wide variety of new tools and skills and expand your skill-set.
