Galways much loved antique jewellery specialists Cobwebs asked Avenir to work with them on the design and development of a new web site which would appropriately reflect the unique character of this venerable Galway institution. The stylish and elegant presentation of luxury jewellery required an understated approach whereby the jewels themselves hold centre stage. The clarity of use however masks a particularly powerful and feature-rich management system which offers the cobwebs staff ease and flexibility. This web site was a real labour of love by all concerned and we like to think it shows!
The joy of working with David is that he really listened to me and created a website that totally reflected my vision of Cobwebs. The response from visitors to the site has been overwhelming, with many people travelling long distances to visit the shop. I'm absolutely thrilled with David's work, both aesthetically and with the financial rewards it has brought me.
The web site features dynamic multi-level drop-down menu, flash masthead on homepage, latest news facility, an events/calendar facility, dynamic lightbox gallery, meta-tag management, media management, in-page pagination on sub-sections, customised page headers for each section and much more, most of which can by managed directly by staff from the administration area.
