WeCare Health and Beauty Web Site |
WeCare is a new concept in Irish health and beauty services offering a combination of a holistic approach with cutting edge diagnosis technologies. The beauty salons based in Kiltimagh, Mayo, Galway and Dublin are branded in a distinctive, copper/bronze colour which Avenir Design have developed and extended across a range of media including DVD presentations, magazine adverts, beauty treatments gift vouchers, pricelists, brochures, shopping bag design, vehicle graphics etc.
Designing a web site for a pharmacy / health and beauty salon posed an interesting challenge for us. It went without saying that the site needed to be clean, simple and easy to navigate while on the other hand it would eventually need to accommodate a huge range of frequently changing products and hair and beauty treatments. Avenir Design created a web site utilising a content management which allows WeCare staff to login to a password protected area and edit the web site directly. Staff have the ability to add new pages, upload new images, publish and unpublish articles and basically complete all the tasks appropriate to the web site for a thriving business.
The WeCare web site is built on a content management system which combines the popular open source technologies of PHP & MySQL to create a database driven application that is quick, powerful and easy to extend. The masthead of the web site uses flash to create an animated presentation that is the same file size as an equivalent image.
The WeCare web site is still under development.
